OT:MAC Book Pro Owners/ Mac question...

What do you use for making posters, flyers, & stuff like that?

I used Publisher when I had a PC, but you can't use it for MAC...

Is there anything that doesn't cost a ton of money out there that I can get for my macbook pro?

Would love to buy photoshop but I can't see myself wasting a thousand dollars for something that I won't use a ton of...
