Very excited to be Taking a job in the area and probably have to move in the next month (moving in from Memphis and have never lived outside of west TN)Have never bought a house and am wanting to buy instead of rent as I have two dogs which makes the rental market more challenging/I’m ready to consider buying as I plan on staying in Knoxville long term. Does anyone have any suggestions of resources to use outside of Zillow to see what’s available in the area. Working on finding a realtor but wondered if anyone had suggestions or recommendations. I know the housing market is tough, and my timeline is less than ideal, so just trying to get as many recs as I can to work Thru quickly. Will be working in the west Knoxville area, and am open to houses there or north Knoxville as far north as Halls as my girlfriend will probably be working north of halls in the near future.
Also would appreciate advice on any rentals as I may ultimately end up having to rent for a year if I can’t find one to buy quickly. Thanks for any help.
