When I read or hear people discussing who the GOAT in NBA history is I always hear the same couple names over & over: Jordan, Magic, LeBron.
But almost rarely if ever will people quickly mention Kareem Abdul-Jabar as the GOAT. He had one of the most incredible careers in any sport ever:
10 NBA Finals appearances
6x NBA Champion
2x NBA Finals MVP
6x NBA MVP
19x NBA All Star
All-time points leader
3rd in career rebounds
3rd in career blocks
Only player to win NBA MVP & Finals MVP with 2 different teams.
Why is that? I'm way to young to even know anything about Jabar besides he achievements.
