OT: Netflix on a non smart tv

We have a wireless router and 4 yr old 50" plasma 1080p tv in our living room. It's not a smart tv. What's the best way to get Netflix? Should we buy a Amazon stick or Apple tv box? How does it interface? (We arent big apple folks with other devices) TIA
