I'll poll the collective GQ on this because it has been several years since I've had to do this. My laptop appears to have crapped out on me and I'm in the market for a new home device. My question is has anyone gone to just using a tablet as a primary device? Such as a Surface Pro? I'm considering doing that, but want some feedback from people that have used Surface Pros. I've heard mixed things on them. Some ppl love them, some ppl seem pretty meh.
I should add I really don't have any need for a super computer at home. Basically just a Volquest device with the ability to store documents, run excel on occasion, and media usage (music/movies/etc.).
