Sorry for an off-topic question. I have sold my house and recently moved. I filled out the online change of address form with the USPS. It was supposed to start forwarding my mail to my new address on 9/10. I have not closed on my old house yet so I have been driving by and checking the mailbox and every day my mail is still showing up at the old house. Is this normal? I know the USPS reputation, but surely they can handle a simple mail forwarding situation? I'm not sure if I should write a letter to the postmaster at that zip code as well? Fortunately I have moved most of my mail to paperless, but I still have a few things that come by traditional mail. Any suggestions other than kiss my mail goodbye after I can no longer check that box?
