Just happy and wanted to share. As someone who's had diabetes since childhood and had kidney disease for the last 10 years, I've been extra careful during this whole pandemic, but I can finally see an end in sight. There's been a hubbub in Germany with people refusing to get the JandJ vaccine because they don't think it's as high quality as the others, but it's 100 percent effective at preventing medically serious infections, and that's good enough for me. Couldn't care less about getting Covid19 if it's not medically serious. (Brain fart time)
My life of GrubHub and grocery delivery will likely continue, though. Nothing like having people bring me food. My favorite part is when I'm sitting at my computer and watching the GrubHub driver on the little map. But I haven't actually been in a restaurant or movie theater since this whole thing started, and I miss it, even though I never really ate out often before the pandemic due to dietary restrictions.
I also miss traveling for work occasionally, but that's never coming back. I will miss my Alaska and Hawaii accounts more than they will miss me. And, unfortunately, my excuse for not visiting my in-laws will be over. Even sunny skies have a few clouds.
