Just wanted to brag on myself a little and to THANK VQ!!!!!!
First and foremost I wanted to say, after not listening to a few, I went and purchased two wedges, a 52 and 56 Vokey's and I could NOT be happier, they both hit the ball better than I've ever hit the ball and I have only played 4 games with them but I have already gained a lot of confidence in both.
Next, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU VQ for the Golf Ball thread the other night. Someone stated something like "If you're a mid to high handicapper you should not be hitting ProV1's" which got me researching High vs Low compression balls and 2 ply etc...
So, yesterday at noon I went and purchased a dozen TaylorMade Project (a) and a dozen of Wilson Duo and headed to my favorite course for 9 holes. I'm playing against my buddies this morning so I wanted to find out if this was truly going to make a difference. With my wife as my witness, and cheerleader (She kept saying how awesome I was playing) I had possibly the best round of 9 holes I've ever had in my life!
Anyway, thank you guys and yesterday and those tips basically paid for my yearly subscription!
