I just hired my first official full-time employee. I run all my accounting on QB for mac, not the online version but the version that resides 100% on the computer. My accountant suggested we sign up for Quickbooks Payroll. She didn't really know what version was best or if i had to convert to the online version of quickbooks to experience the benefits of the payroll part. I looked on the QB site and it looks like you have to convert to the online version 100% to get the payroll part.
Question is, does anybody have experience similar to what we are going through? My wife and I are going to do the payroll ourselves, if possible. I plan on another 2-3 FTEs by the end of the year. I'm not sure how this works or if I could possibly only purchase the payroll part and keep my computer version without having to convert to everything online.
I can do either way if somebody can please show me the way. Thanks in advance!!
