Haven't seen this addressed in other threads. My son graduated in December but is on his own in the real world working hard to make it in his career choice. But since I claimed in 2018 (he also filed a tax return) and we haven't filed 2019 he will not, in my understanding, receive a check. Anyone know of exception processes for situations like this or is it what it is?
