Through my years of being on VQ (mostly lurking), I’ve come to realize there are some pretty connected people on here with good advice (weeding out troll posts). So, I’m hoping you guys can help a fellow VFL out.
A little about my background...I’m currently working in Outside Sales in the industrial automation field. I’ve been in Sales for about 3.5 years. Prior to that, I worked as a licensed Civil Engineer for about 9 years.
I absolutely love Sales and have found it to fit my personality and competitive drive much better than engineering. Recently, I’ve started looking for a new opportunity potentially in the Medical Device Sales industry. These jobs previously weren’t realistic options for me as I was lacking sales experience. Now, that I have several successful years under my belt, I’m hoping to find an opportunity.
My current position has a strong base plus commission. Ideally, I’d like for my next opportunity to have a similar pay structure. Do you guys have any advice or connections? Thanks in advance!
