Reading a book during this quarantine called “The Game” by George Howe Colt. It is about the Harvard and Yale rivalry and ultimately the football game between the two in 1968. Great read if you are a football fan. I’m 35, but feel those who were college age adults during the Vietnam era would especially appreciate. One of the chapters details this brutal and violent game between the two schools in 1894, which led to many changes and eventually the formation of the NCAA. Definitely worth a read or at least looking up this game in particular, so I thought I’d share. Would love to see a book discussing football in the south during this same time period. Has anyone else read The Game?
