Heading to an All Inclusive in Jamaica Saturday and I wanted to check my tipping habits against the VQ standard of care. Obviously from our last discussion my habits especially for takeout is below VQ acceptable standards. So here goes:
Housekeeping- $1/night
Breakfast Buffet- $2
Lunch Buffet-$2
Dinner Buffet-$5
Ala Cartes- $10 plus up to $20 depending on service
Drinks-$1 every other drink unless "fancy" and then $1/$2 per drink
What says the VQ? Cheap? Reasonable?
Got to give a call out to NYCVol. This will be our 40th wedding anniversary and I was stressing out because my work schedule was preventing me from doing anything elaborate and he suggested just doing something simple and relaxing this year and save the big trips to retirement. That is what we did. It's a bit hot for Jamaica but we are looking forward to a week of pampering.
