With Memphis schools being out, a lot of teams just have first round byes. How much sense does it make to not re-seed? The teams that usually play memphis teams now have it where the #1 seed plays a tougher opponent in their first game than the #2 seed of their region. Case in point: Milan is the #1 seed in Region 7-3a. Their first game will be vs. Covington, the third seed in their region while #2 South Gibson Co. plays Westview, the #4 seed in their region. Am I missing something on why that wouldn't have been an easy fix?
