Hi Vol Nation -

I've received an outpouring of support from you guys in the form of direct messages, offering prayers and well wishes, and my family deeply appreciates it.

The last time I posted an update I was hoping to take my wife to the Ga Tech game which would've been her first game since originally being diagnosed with cancer while she was pregnant with my daughter Katherine. We pulled out every stop, and I even met with her oncologist to discuss the possibility, but unfortunately he advised us that she couldn't go because her spine had too many fractures from the cancer.

Last week, they did a procedure where they literally glued the bones of her spine back together and I'm happy to report that she's finally able to walk again. Her pain level has been cut in half. She's still having issues breathing, but we're going to knock that out with the chemo that she's just started.

Tennessee football is completely interwoven into our relationship! We started dating going to games together, and have used our love of UT football as a bridge when we can't agree on all the petty crap that married people bicker about. I mention that because we're doing EVERYTHING in our power to get her to either the UGA or the LSU game in Knoxville. When you know you only have a few good years left, every game matters more. Strange to say that, but it's true.

I've setup a fund for her care. If you'd like to contribute, it's much appreciated. Or if you'd just pray for us, that's just as good. If you'd like to know anything more about our situation, please direct message me or respond to this thread. Gold bless and thank you!
