OT: Vacation Location Ideas

I have an upcoming vacation in April and I need some ideas on where to go. I am not one that you would consider "well-traveled", but I do enjoy getting out of TN and exploring. My wife and I visited Charleston, SC last year and we loved it. This year we want to visit the coast of North Carolina or Georgia. I have researched Topsail and North Topsail, NC and St. Simon, GA.


Here's the low down:
# of UT fans: 2
# of UT dogs: 2
Dates: April 25- May 2
Price Range: < $2,500


Any advice would be wonderful. I am really open to anywhere with a beach... except Panama City Beach. That ain't happening.
