Do you work for a bank or broker? How do you like it?
I've been running a one man brokerage shop. I'm now thinking about bringing in partners to the business (like attorneys do it), and/or hiring originators on a high commission split model. What do you guys think of this idea? Any suggestions? What do you think would attract the right people? Can a small company entice big producers to jump ship for a bigger piece of the pie and more self-determination? I'd love to hear ideas. What makes YOUR situation great, and what would make it BETTER?
