This will be a mickey mouse discussion with me leading the charge when it comes to talking offense, so hopefully some others can chime in and pick up the slack.
My initial reaction is 10 personnel. We have some real speed and dynamic ability in the freshman class, Gibbs, and Palmer. Johnson should be that steady-eddy veteran as well. Obviously a ton of inexperience, but we could be a tough team to cover. The OL should be solid... But can you really run the ball all that effectively out of 10 personnel without their being an option or RPO aspect to the offense? -- I don't know that answer to that question.
My second reaction is to put an 80 number of Jahmir Johnson and let that guy maul some people on the edge. You're likely tipping your hand a great deal here... But you could still max protect and take some shots with him in the game. Gray and Chandler are both good recievers as well, so it would still be a 4 man route.
Of course, the best answer is one or two of the existing TE's fills in and does a respectable job. To one degree or another, they'll have to.
I have no idea how often we used a TE last season but I know it was a lot. Going to be really interesting how Chaney handles have virtually no experience coming back at that position.
