So you can go back to 2002 in Rivals to check on recruiting rankings, and I thought I would list our top 10 basketball recruits over this period.

1) Scotty Hopson - 5
2) Tobias Harris - 7
3) Josiah James - 18
4) Ramar Smith - 20
5) Robert Hubbs - 23
6) Corey Walker - 24
7) Keon Johnson - 25
8) Duke Crews - 26
9) Tyler Smith - 34
10) Wayne Chism - 34

Others of interest:

Jaden Springer - 12
Cam Hayes - 15
PJ Hall - 67

Jordan Bone - 146
Grant Williams - 191
Admiral Schofield - 251

Notes:
According to an article yesterday, Johnson will be a top 25 recruit in the next rankings, so I went ahead and ranked him #25.

If James stays a second year, we'll have AT LEAST 3 of our top 10 players of the 18 year period on the same team. If we get Springer and Hayes, things get ridiculous.

Some players' rankings have been lost. I had to go to 247 to get Williams' and Schofield's rankings, for instance. Hmm. Wonder why those would go missing?

Looking at the top 20, it's amazing how many busts we've had. Just in the top 10, Ramar Smith and Duke Crews didn't work out at all, and, imo, Hopson and Hubbs didn't reach their potential.
