I know we can debate the wisdom of giving tweens mobile phones, facebook, instagram, etc.... I don't think it's a good idea but I understand there are smart parents that do.
But what on God's green earth is the thought process behind letting an 11 year old have Snapchat. I gave my daughter an old phone with an icloud account that is relatively locked down with the Bark app. She can only use with Wifi in our house (she has no data plan). She just walks in my office and asks "dad, can I have Snapchat? all my friends have it."
Is this Snapchat different than the disappearing di*k pic Snapchat of yesteryear?
Teach this aging Gen X-er.
Thanks!
