From the Tennessean....
The Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl will bring a nearly sold-out stadium crowd, which means a lot of traffic for the downtown Nashville area.
A near capacity crowd of more than 68,000 people is expected for the 2:30 p.m. Friday game between Tennessee and Nebraska at Nissan Stadium, according to a Metro Police news release.
Metro Police are encouraging fans planning to attend the game to arrive early. Nissan Stadium parking lots will open at 8:30 a.m. Friday for those who have purchased parking passes — which are sold out. Stadium gates will open at 12:30 p.m.
Officials are asking attendees and drivers to be mindful of a number of things when attending the game or visiting downtown.
