1) Thoughts on Locklear's commitment? Seems like the board is pretty underwhelmed, but to me he looks like a really great pickup due to his measurables and the fact that we beat out FSU/Trickett.
2) Sounds like Eze wants to make a pre-fall commitment. With all of the usual caveats of his not caring about football royalty, needing to get him back on campus, etc that we all know, where do you think the Vols are with him right now? Do you think we'd be in good shape if he were to do something by the end of the summer?
3) Sticking with OL, would you agree with the following given that we have Tucker/Locklear on board:
a) Staff waiting on Ross, who plans to commit in person in July and announce publicly on 8/1. Vols in good spot but UNC still very much a player
b) Some tea leaves on Ross could come in the form of when/if TJ Moore does something (i.e., we aren't taking both). If Moore commits to UT it means staff feels like they missed on Ross. If Moore commits to the Cocks it means we weren't ready to take him b/c we still feel like we have a strong shot with Ross
c) Obviously holding a spot for Smith, for whom we are in a bigtime battle but are right at the top
d) In deep with Wills, would be hard to turn him down regardless of how many OL we have committed at the time
e) Filaga is the other elite OL we are in with, but he's not doing anything soon and we are a longshot due to distance
4) Thoughts on WR recruiting right now? Seems like Holloman and Peoples-Jones are trending in the wrong direction, and Jeudy is a Bama lean. Do you think we are willing to take a guy like KJ Hamler (recent offer) or CD Lamb (Top 5...longshot) or Justin Marshall or Payton? Or do you think the staff might elect to use those spots elsewhere if they can't get elite guys (not saying Hamler or Lamb or Marshall aren't potentially elite, per se)?
5) Thoughts on Jacquez Jones? After reading more about him and seeing his performances this summer at camps, I think we might have gotten another SFL steal here
6) Couple of questions on the Gaddy Bros, who I am assuming we land on on 8/26:
a) How badass is Breyon as a future KMAC/Shy?
b) Do you think the staff has a specific position in mind for Brandon?
c) Have you seen many big guys of their respective sizes with that kind of athleticism?
7) Hearing anything new on Malik Young or Fred Hansard or Conliffe? Think we are real players for Jeter?
8) Is he Wade in this week for another UV? Thoughts on scheduling his OV for the UF game, which will be either his 1st or 2nd OV? I know he's an EE so it won't be so far from his decision date, but it seems strategically poor to allow other bigtime schools with bigtime atmospheres to get him after we do
9) Seeing a lot of Jamyest to the Cocks smoke (what?). Make anything of that in regards to our CB recruiting?
