We have gotten completely out of character defensively. We aren’t playing solid and grinding out possession. We are jumping, lunging and over helping all leading to long close outs and a ton of rotations. The score honestly could be worse because they missed a lot of open 3’s.
It’s clear our guys aren’t comfortable and it has affected our offense.
In basketball as a coach it can be easy to out smart yourself. And that is what this is. Need to scrap this game plan and get back to what got us here.
Offensively need to ram the ball inside every single possession. Loyola is doing a really denying Grant. But WE HAVE to have someone else step up besides Grant and AD.
