sorry to be negative but the roster next year doesnt look all that great unless we get some transfers. i know we will, or we will try. Here is my opinion of what they must get.
(1) QB-one grad transfer. Just for depth. If Hooker leaves Milton will start. If Hooker stays Milton will leave. That only leaves Jackson and Moore. Need one more guy.
(1) RB- i think we only need one guy. If Williams signs then I still think they need one but will be less of a priority. I think Beckwith leaves. Sampson and Williams will be a good haul.
(0)WR- I actually think we are good here. Unless they can get a major impact guy. They are in on a lot of good WR for 2023 as they should be.
(0) TE- no transfer unless a major impact guy. Campbell, Bell, Nixon should contribute next year and they have Foley committed. Assuming Fant and Warren return.
(1) OG - we have some guards on the roster but not sure how good they are, need someone that can step in and play. This is due to poor evaluations of prior staffs.
(1) OT- i almost put down 2. Wright, Davis, Perry, Parker, Calbert, Crawford. Can they find 3-4 guys out of that group that can play?
1(DE) - we arent that deep there
0(DT)- unless again there can be an impact guy. This is assuming they can land Mba. Simmons, Omari, Terry, Garland, Eason. I think they can find a good rotation.
2(LB) - we need some more guys here. Beasley, Banks, Roman back but need some players here.
2(CB)- this depends on any jucos they get but right now Burrel, Hadden and Rucker are their only guys. they need some immediate impact players here Unless Slaughter and Turnage can move to CB but i think those two guys will be the nickels.
1(S)- We have 4 that can likely play. Tank, Flowers (if he returns), McDonald and Charles but we need an upgrade there and some depth.
That is 10 transfers. I doubt we get that many but we will see.
