20 years ago I was on the beach in Seaside, Florida. We had just bought a house there. But I was more excited to see a husband and wife and their four young sons proudly flying the Power T flag on the beach above their chairs and umbrella.
I approached them, and began an enduring friendship that has now spanned generations.
I learned today, though, that one of the four sons, Tanner Rice, has just lost his wife Lexi in Knoxville to a sudden and unexplained illness, leaving behind four precious babies and a grieving husband as well as other devastated family and friends.
Please lift them up in the face of unimaginable grief.
