looking over the visitors we have this weekend, it occurred to me that Pruitt may see the 2020 class as the breakout recruiting class. I’m wondering if he is thinking that they can get some really good players in 2019 but not a full class worth which is why he is mortgaging 2019 scholarships for 2018 players. This helps him show improvement from last year
Maybe he is thinking that he can show improvement in year one and get some big time players and a pretty good ~20 person class for 2019 with players like wright, Morris, crouch, etc. Really good top end talent but smaller class. Follow that up with a top 3 2020 class after showing more improvement through good coaching in the 2019 season. Might explain so many grad transfers.
