I wanted to take a look at the main excuse Pruitt continues to use during his call in shows and press conferences:
No Spring Practice and unusual fall practice- EVERYONE experienced this. ALL the teams in the conference experienced the "out of the norm" in regards to practice. This should have NO bearing on what is going into the 6th game of the season. Lets look at Auburn for example. They started off the season looking AWFUL. Most of the fan base on here thought that is going to be a win. However they have gotten better as the season goes a long. Why? Because they have gotten to get more work in and reps. What about Tennessee? Total opposite. They started the season not looking great but was able to find a way against South Carolina. They faced adversity and was able to find a way. Then the next week they dominate Missouri. We all know what happened in the first half against Georgia. I believe Georgia had the upper hand but that goal line stop was incredible and we have all the momentum. From the second half in the Georgia game till today November 10th something happened. You cannot continue to use the excuses that would have worked in August and expect them to work in November.
