IF the number 2 race is as tight as Tony makes it out to be, I don't see how JG isn't the guy in 17. QD's claim to the 2nd spot is based on familiarity with the system and a year under his belt. He has the talent to play at this level. But I don't think anyone believes he is the best fit for the offense. With JG on the roster and possessing the same, maybe better arm talent, along with the legs, there is a pretty decent chance QD isn't the QB come 17.
