I am not a big recruiting guy and really only know what is told on this board by mods and others.. I've coached football a long time, and been around some fantastic players through the years, and I've been a part of the process through my players several times. Although I'm a Tennessee fan, I've never pushed that agenda with my guys. Well, I've never been adamant about it.. I have a couple guys in Knoxville right now, but that was there choice and decision, and I stayed back, secretly praising the decision. Lol

For the most part my guys have pretty good family structure, and support.

I've noticed the trouble comes when these kids have a broken family structure, or when somebody thinks they can gain something by getting involved. Be that a coach, dad, uncle, mom, handler, trainer, whatever.. These kids trust somebody. There is a somebody in place they trust and if that person is in it for personal gain, it usually shines through in the recruitment, and the commitment, back out, committing again, or simply being wishy washy. It's really sad..

The entire point of this post is, how in the hell is North Carolina recruiting so well right now? They have several committed, and are in on some MONSTERS, who they lead for..

They also do something akin to orange carpet day, and I wonder if fedora and butch are friends. He does some things exactly like butch..

Anyway, how are they able to recruit so well with the cloud that is over that program? Football will take the fall for it all right?
