One of my Father's close friends passed away recently. He was our next door neighbor when I was a kid in the 50's. Long story short, he had a German Luger, 9mm black with a red swastika on each side of the grip. As a kid I asked him where he had acquired it. His answer "I took it off of a German officer after I killed him." I don't know if I was fascinated by the gun or the story, but one of his granddaughters asked me if I would be interested in purchasing it. I can't believe they would want to sell it but they do. I used to go hunting with this guy and my father a lot. I really enjoyed their friendship and the conversations we would have. I did a little research on the net, but could find nothing that looked like it. I am waiting for some info concerning serial numbers etc. Any thoughts?
