I’ve got a close friend, whose wife had, what they think is a heart attack Sunday night. Obviously with the C19 stuff there has been no visitation allowed. She’s in ICU critical care.
They have called the hospital daily, trying to get information but have only been able to talk to floor nurses each time and the info is limited at best.
My question is what is the protocol for how to relay information to the families right now.
Should the family expect a conversation from a doctor by now, should they “demand “ that at this point?
Most members of the family are fairly passive and hates to make waves but I’m thinking they need to be a little more aggressive in trying to find out what’s going on with their wife/mom.
TIA
