I keep seeing news articles that mention the "respected" and sometimes "highly respected" medical journal, Lancet. My impression has been that among other medical journals Lancet is not as highly respected as other medical journals. I also recall that Lancet published the now totally refuted article claiming that autism is linked to vaccines used to immunize against childhood diseases that has been exposed as flawed, if not downright fraudulent. So, what is your opinion about Lancet?
