On the EA show a few days back, they indicated that Cade had hinted that if he could get the right amount of money in an NIL deal, he'd probably come back but if not, he'd go pro.

I'm curious about the value to a local business of a big NIL deal.

As much as I want Cade to return, I don't think any OL likely makes business sense for a huge deal for a local business, but let's say we were talking about Hooker or someone who is really a star and is a make or break type of player. Would you as a fan be more likely to shop at a business who made it financially feasible for a Hooker type of player to return?

Let's say (as an example) Ted Russell Ford made a 6 figure deal with Hooker. Are you buying a Ford? Are you more likely to buy a Ford? Are you going to Ted Russell Ford 1st before any other car lot?

How about something that is a smaller transaction like a local restaurant? You eating more Ye Olde Steakhouse (as an example) if they have a 6 figure deal with Hooker?
