Let me preface this by saying I may have totally misunderstood Hart here so take this with a grain of salt. But didn't Hart say that when they vetted Tyndall they interviewed the Southern Miss administration "thoroughly"? Thinking back to the investigation timeline: When the NCAA got involved, wasn't Southern Miss instantly forthright and honest in providing evidence on Tyndall? If so: 1) Did Hart fail in vetting thoroughly or 2) Did Southern Miss straight up lie to him? I would lean towards the former. What do y'all think?
