Had a chance to catch up with Kingsport's John Fulkerson today after yesterday's unofficial visit to Knoxville.
Will have a story later, but pertinent details are; he had a great time, spent a lot of time visiting with the coaches, played some pick up with the team and said things couldn't have gone any better in his mind. He stopped short of calling Tennessee his clear cut leader just because, as he said, he hadn't been anywhere else really to compare it to.
I would guess that the Vols have put themselves in front here with their early offer and yesterday's visit, however the kid is developing some options. Clemson and Georgia have also both offered recently. South Carolina is showing him a lot of attention, and as we recently mentioned, UNC is having him down for an unofficial visit.
He does have an official visit set up to Tennessee already, weekend of the OU game. I think (understandably) that he's enjoying being recruited some after not being on anyone's radar, so wouldn't be surprised to see him take a couple of visits, but do think the Vols are in good shape here at the moment.
