Trey Smith made it to Alabama over the weekend and it was an unofficial visit. That means he still can visit both Tennessee and Alabama for an official in Novemebrer.
I haven't talked to everyone I want to get at Alabama, but I do think the Tide may be more of a factor than I've given them credit for recently. I still think Tennessee is the team to beat here, not ready to back off of that, but Alabama is going to make the Vols work for this one.
I'm trying to figure out just how many OL Alabama is taking in this class and that could help us unlock that situation a little more.
But, I just wanted to give a heads up as the next six weeks are crunch time for Trey as he decides on Dec. 6.
