Randolph: "I didn’t really get the support from the university"

Interesting comments by Randolph in today's Marrieta paper.

Using his pro day to get himself noticed, the 6-foot, 210 pound Randolph bench pressed 225 pounds 31 times and ran a 4.4 second 40-yard dash. Despite the eye-popping numbers, he wasn’t really surprised he wasn’t drafted.

“I didn’t really get the support from the university,” he said. “Without the all-star games or an invite to the combine, my agent said it likely wouldn’t happen.”
