I've been thinking back (due to seeing the incredible success of Kyle Trask validating w/ solid certainty that Dan Mullen is a flipping legit QB developer) and from what I am remembering, we were firmly in the mix for Mullen until the Saturday night just before the SchiaNO fiasco.
The quick move to go after Schiano was presumably prompted by Florida getting Mullen right?
Thinking back, were we really firmly in the mix for Mullen or am I remembering wrong and Florida was likely to land him the whole time?
To be captain obvious w/ a John Madden-ism that can't actually be overstated: The QB position is insanely important to the game of football. Mullen has shown definitively that he knows how to handle the position.
