Most of these are positive things so many of you may want to stop reading now.

1. How good is Jashon Robertson? It is not a coincidence that him being healthy equaled a very strong night on the ground vs a very good defense.

2. We got a steal in Chance Hall. 3 star OL coming off Achilles surgery aren't supposed to start as freshman and play well. He is going to be a lot of football here once all is said and done.

3. Hats off to Dylan Wiesman. He has played very well this year. No one would have predicted he be a mainstay in the starting line up before the season began.

4. The secondary is playing much better than in week 1. Foreman has improved a great deal. Martin and Mosely are playing better. Randolph and McNeil are back to form as well. I thought 37 and 33 tackled with attitude last night, good to see.

5. Great to see our DL continues to be disruptive even without 2, 56, and 5. Owen Williams is playing as well as anyone on the team right now.

6. This is a well coached football team. We have a great shot at an 8 win regular season. That is quantifiable progress and will sell on the recruiting trail. Feels good to be headed in the right direction.

7. Only item of major concern is the passing game. Doug Matthews thinks we hire a full time QB coach this off season. He thinks that will sure up some technique things and make Dobbs more accurate. If Dobbs can improve in this department we could be a scary good offense.
