1. Preston Williams
Had some impact, but I think he will be a huge difference maker
2. Kongbo
I just don't think he can fail to be on field and make major contributions inside and outside
3. D Taylor
He just looks like a true weakside DE that can wreak havoc going around the weaker OT while DB gets the focus
4. T Byrd
Too much PT available at wr especially in the slot for this type of athlete to not make an impact. And on special teams
5. D Richmond
Not completely sure he will start game 1, but he will play a lot and we won't be our best on OL until he is enough better than Kendrick to solidify us athletically at left OT.
6. N Warrior
Just too good of a player to not have an impact as a freshman.
7. Q Sapp
I bet he makes an impact. He may be a platoon guy, but he will make plays and improve the speed of our lb core
8. K Phillips
Yeah.....I have a 5* this low on list. We'll see how his shoulder holds up. What if he plays with something to prove and shows similar ability to DB?
9. J Croom
Should consider him higher, in fact I think he should be 6 but don't feel like editing. He has receiver skills and will be a real weapon, especially when we go 4 wide with him as one of them on inside with a quicker guy there as well. He'll get the linebacker while the safety covers J Smith or Byrd. Good luck with that.
10. M Callaway
I think PW will lead the receivers and Malone and Josh Smith will have steady seasons and lots of catches. But in addition to Byrd, I think this guy will replace Von Pearson as a faster version that just needs experience.
What do you think? I get the most excited about team 120 and having our leaders on offense and defense with better numbers/depth in the trenches. But after that, it is the phenomenal young talent that hasn't even made an impact yet that really convinces me this season will be a ton of fun. Even if we fall short of the ultimate goal due to a close loss along the way, we should dominate a lot of teams with this talent.
