"There's been plenty of chatter about Board of Trustees member Raja Jubran telling Jimmy Hyams that an AD hire might not happen until late spring.
“Hopefully we will get someone on board one or two months before Dave Hart retires (June 30),’’ Jubran said Tuesday to Hyams. “It could be April or May.’’
The news didn't resonate well many in the athletic department who are ready to know the direction of things in the post Dave Hart era."
I think we certainly have a rift developing between the board and the new Chancellor, regarding athletics and department decisions. She doesn't tamp a decision probably made before her announcement, and the board is leaking out that the university is not capable of making a decision.
Is there anything in the AD that is going well? I can't put my finger on anything.
