It would seem that the power brokers behind the scenes have become split on Blackburn (not necessarily a secret, as that concept has been floated out there by several). I just wonder out loud if Fulmer has become a quasi "compromise" candidate by those that did not like Blackburn.
I am not a big fan of Fulmer taking the job. But under the circumstances we face, I too can compromise and just go with Phil. It may beat the alternative of some outsider if the choice is not Blackburn (who most agree is the obvious guy for the job).
