Yes I'm saying it! :)

If (and this is important) the defensive tackles can stop the inside runs this team is setup to not only be very good but very consistently good.

A dominant running game virtually never has a bad day. Team speed never has a bad day and a dominant defenses rarely have bad days. If this team can do as Coach Shoop says and stop the run consistently they should be one of the most consistent teams in the SEC if not the nation. Team 120 should be better with virtually all of the pieces of the 2nd best rushing team in the SEC returning. That spells dominance even if the rushing game is only 10% better. The secondary speed is greatly improved which likely means more turnovers especially with the defensive end speed and the likely improved rush without blitzing (from the four down linemen). And unlike a great passing game, great running games rarely have off/bad nights. All that is left to have a consistently dominant team is stopping the run straight up the middle which the Vols haven't proven yet. I think they will now that the full compliment of defensive tackles are on board and the fact that they will have time to get in shape/healthy and get it together since no team on the schedule has the running game to really test them until Georgia and Bama.
