1. As productive as Josh Dobbs has been in this offense, Guarantano is said to be even stronger running the ball and has a much better arm. Dormady doesn't have the wheels but has a great arm.
2. Butch will make changes to our strength and conditioning program over the off-season. We were a more physical team in 2015. He knows how to build more toward that blueprint and likely will.
3. Butch has improved greatly with his in-game management from 2015 to 2016. That was a huge question that has been answered.
4. Our inability to stop the run is 100% on the season ending injuries to Tuttle, McKenzie, and the dismissal of O'Brien. Look how light our weight is at the DT position. Not having Reeves-Maybin making multiple tackles hurts too. I don't think Sutton is anywhere near 100% back from his broken ankle. He wanted to come back as quickly as possible to help his team win.
5. Without Hurd bogging things down, this offense runs like a well-oiled machine. It gives RB's and WR's plenty of opportunities to put up big numbers and be productive. Put a great QB like Dormady or Guarantano back there and you'll really see it take off. A couple of changes I would like to see in 2017 is each WR being targeted more per game. Malone has caught some long bombs which make his numbers many time look like 3 catches for around 100 yards a game. I'd like to see him and our other top WR's have 6 to 10 catches per game. That would lure big time high school WR prospects here like a bear to honey. Let Jennings continue to play WR but let him play 15 to 20 plays on defense at safety as well. He's smart, physical, and has great hands. We would see some hard hits from him and multiple interceptions.

The bottom line is we're far from perfect especially on defense, but we're still winning. Butch has proven he isn't shy or reluctant about making staff changes where he sees fit. We beat Florida this year and we can do it again next year. They lose a lot on defense. Georgia has a long way to go also and is led by a coach who is far from proven. The injury bug cloud may leave us for sunny skies in 2017. As high as our expectations were coming into 2016, the bottom line is it just wasn't our year. Bad luck happens to good people and teams.

Trust Butch and let him continue in the process. He has us headed in the right direction.
