We, currently, only have room to sign 17. We all expect several to leave early for the NFL. And, of course, there will be some normal attrition. I'd expect us to sign 25 with Cimaglia as a gray shirt.

We're at 22 (again, I'm counting Cimaglia as 2018) commits with several key targets still out there:

1) Cam Akers RB
2) Ty Chandler RB
3) 1 more WR (Marshall, Holloman, or Harris)
4) 1-2 more OL (Smith, Eze, Bateman)
5) 1-2 more DT (Hansard, Young, Conliffe)
6) 1 more DE (Herring, Allen, Foster)
7) 1 more LB (Foster, Phillips)
8) 1-2 more CB (Corker, Wade, Williams, Bonds, Gibbs)
9) 1 more safety (Stevens, Abram)

I'd bet we'll add 9 new names. So, we'll, unfortunately have to lose 6 current commits.

I'm not worried about recruiting. I know we're going to have a great year. Nor am I worried about instate recruiting. Most of the talent is mid-state and a lot of those kids haven't seen us be the real TN, are transient, or don't match our schemes. Also, CBJ has proven to be an excellent recruiter. No reason to doubt him now. Especially as our best season in 10 years is about to begin.
