Regardless of outcome (yes, great to win), love seeing the style in which we play

I'm still surprised that we go through some scoring droughts like we do. We miss a ton of wide open shots. But first, let's give a ton of credit to...

FULK- This was vintage Fulk that we haven't seen in 2 years. I was very surprised that when the game started, Arizona doubled Fulk right off the bat. Then they didn't double him late in the game. When Fulk can get quickly into the lane, as Arizona was happy to let him do, he can get deep and use his arsenal of moves. He has trouble when he has to take 4 or 5 dribbles to get deep. So thank you Arizona for letting him get his running start and easily get in the lane. Once he got deep, he did a great job of finishing

Our first half defense was spectacular. Arizona is a really, really good team. But they weren't ready for what our defense was putting on them. And that's just how we play defense. We're one of the best, if not THE best, in the country. Our perimeter trap and recover is first rate. Our guys fighting through screens and communication when switching is elite. Everything we do on that end is very, very good. I would have to check but I think a lot of Arizona's points came in transition either off of turnovers or missed shots where they ran out.

Rebounding- the team all went to the glass hard. Fulk and ORN had to rebound but they also had a ton of help from the guards. To outrebound the best rebounding team in the country is something pretty special.

KC played poorly..on the offensive end.. No other way around it. He's playing a little tentative and looks like he's trying to make the right play instead of just playing. He still played very well defensively even though things weren't going well for him on the other end. He will get it figured out

Great to see Powell officially become part of the rotation. Need to figure out a way to get him some more shots.

To beat the #6 team in the country when KC played as poorly as he did and Santi shot 3-12 from 3 can't help but make you feel great about where we are. We struggle at times offensively but how great is it to struggle and beat a top 10 team. And make no mistake, Arizona is definitely a top 10 team. They're freaking good. But so are we.
