Butch Jones has a lot of improving as a coach but every single year this team has improved under him. He's made staff changes each year to improve his staff. Shoop needs to get his dbs and his type linebackers for his system to be better. Our dline has been decimated with injuries. Give him Tuttle, McKenzie and Obrien back. Maybin was pretty good too.
The Carolina game was a terrible loss. They played the best game of the year and Vols played their worst. Butch couldn't do anything about his senior QB playing a terrible game.
If this team does get by a pretty dang good Vandy team next week and this team does finish 9-3, this will be a pretty good season considering all the injuries and turmoil. Coach Jones has done a great job keeping this team together.
