So here's the deal. My wife and I were on vacation in Denver, and the first night we were there, someone tried to break into our rental car (they may have actually made it in, but we had taken all of our stuff out and I unlocked it when I was walking to it, so I don't know if they made in or not....but I digress).

I got a bill from the collection agency and the work order when it was fixed that Hertz uses to collect that shows the cost of labor on the repair by an "internal employee". We got billed $110 for labor costs, a $5 replacement part and a $50 admin fee that I'm sure has to do with paying the 3rd party to collect (although it probably costs them about $10 to pay the 3rd party, but I digress once again...).

So it's like I am literally not getting charged for loss of use, but rather for the actual part and the internal labor cost to fix the car from when someone tried to break into it. Wtf? Has this happened to anyone else and did you try to fight it?
