My wife is out of town this weekend, and I have a lot of extra time on my hands, so I decided to start a little research project this afternoon. It is my goal to look at all of the Top 25 teams and to look at their 2-deep depth chart. From there I am recording their class (just for the sake of this post I am considering a red shirt along with their class, so a RS SR is with the SRs), and how many game appearances they have made in their career. For the games played I am not considering anything at a lower level such as Juco. Each player can only get one game of credit (Cam Sutton can't get two games for Defense and Special Teams). I am only 3 teams in and it is a fairly slow process, but so far the results that I am seeing speak for themselves. Here is what I have so far.

The one thing that really sticks out to me when I look at the more specifics is how many players Ohio St. and TCU have that have played in at least 30 games. Ohio state has 9, TCU has 14, and Tennessee has 3. I have nothing else to really do today, so I plan on keeping this going and will add the other teams as I finish them up. Use this any way you want, but I find it interesting to actually see the numbers instead of people saying we are young or inexperienced without any kind of hard facts to back it up
