1. Would Tennessee a take a commitment from Khwan Fore at this time? I would’ve thought yes but I ask because of Jalen Lecque...yes Tennessee remains a long shot but do you eliminate yourself all together from that race by taking Fore? I’m of the mindset I think Tennessee actually has a better chance at Lecque in 2018 than 2019, UK is loaded in the backcourt, UNC doesn’t have room, Duke has good guards...I just think our sales pitch and returning team gives us a better chance at Lecque now than next year...but the Fore situation creates an interesting dynamic. Is Tennessee in anyway maybe trying to string Fore along or is that his own doing, supposedly Lecque plans to decide in the next 2-3 weeks.
2. I guess slightly related, so you think the lack of names for 2018 would seemingly suggest Tennessee feels good about their chances of bringing in Burns this fall? Meaning that if we truly had 2 open spots and nobody seemingly favoring Tennessee I would think you’d be hearing about Tennessee pursuing some new graduate transfer names, we aren’t which to me makes me think they likely have a spot filled.
3. On DJ Burns, obviously all speculation at this point, but if Tennessee was to bring him in this fall, do you think they would intend to redshirt him? Plan for him to be a role player? Or truly unknown and would bring him to campus and see what they have?
TIA @Rob Lewis
